Mushfiqur Rahim was born on the 9th May of 1987 in Bogura division of Bangladesh. He is the only son of Mahbub Habib and Rahima Khatun. From Bogra Zilla School he concluded his secondary education and later on he studied and graduated on History from renowned Jahangirnagar University.
Professional Life
Mushfiqur Rahim is the former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team.
Rahim started his career as a young cricketer for Bangladesh in under-19s before stepping into the national team.
On February, in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup, which was hosted by Sri Lanka. Mushfiqur Rahim became the captain of the team which included the future famous players like Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan.
As a responsible captain he made the Bangladeshi team reach to the Quarter Final. Most amazingly he is the first and only batsman to score 3 double hundreds in test series and also the only player of Bangladesh to win over one hundred and fifty international matches.
In the history of the test series, he is the one and only wicket keeper batsman to score two double hundred runs. In Bangladesh Premier league and domestic cricket, he plays for Rajshahi Division. He was even appointed as Vice-captain in the tour of Zimbabwe in 2009 August.
